Week 16

The social media platform that I enjoy working with the most for my business is Instagram. The main reasons for this are that it seems to have the broadest reach for fashion/style/clothing and my target market are huge IG users. Another reason I gravitate more towards Instagram is because I like the aesthetic of it and the way you can portray your brand visually. The tools from this semester that I will probably utilize the most include: insights/analytics as well as the importance of SEO. I think that from a design standpoint and getting my message/portraying my brand, I'm good but that's not the only part that matters. I need to be able to draw from different analytics and know how I need to adjust my strategy or keep doing what's already working.

First month of posting for T.McGhee would look like this:

Posts at least 5x a week. Posts will include an opportunity for a discount code if you sign up for emails, new products (fitted t- long and short sleeved, fitted zip-up hoodie, crewneck sweatshirt, everyday sweats, logo baseball hat, logo 1/4 length socks) where each product will get 3 posts that are all posed/styled slightly differently, a giveaway to the first 50 customers (giveaway will consist of T.McGhee logo stickers and either socks or a hat), asking customers to post "How I Wear My T.McGhee" and start posting our favorite looks, behind the scenes of photoshoots, and the process of creating the pieces.

  1. I really liked that fact that each product will have 3 posts that are set up and styled differently so that each one attracts a new viewers eyes!
